The project invited creative ideas of using old boards. My idea, Burton Garden, was to use such boards as flowerbeds and pots since snowboards tend to carry vivid colours and cool designs. What made this prize unique and special was that the entries were actually reviewed and judged by Jake Burton, the founder of the brand! The winning pieces will be auctioned and the whole sales for the auction will be donated to charity organizations.

アイデアは、「Burton Garden」。いらなくなったスノーボードで庭を彩る花壇や植木鉢を製作するというシンプルなものです。スノーボードって、結構、にぎやかな色やデザインが多いんです！なんと審査は、創始者のジェイク・バートンが行ったそうです！
作品は、オークション形式で売却され、売り上げはすべて、慈善団体へ寄付する予定となっています。

The illustration was drawn with the hope to move people and towns through the Tokyo Tower, a symbolic monument in Tokyo, made of flowers and green leaves. I believe if the actual tower transformed into something like this, people would love to look it up every day. This issue's special feature is a walk for organic and beautiful women. It looks nice and soothing with sunshine coming through the canopy.
